The Evangelist, the Hitman and the ACLU

The People Power Hour welcomes film maker T.J. McCarthy IV of 4D Pictures to the show to discuss his latest work -- a look at the trials and tribulations of our own George Crossley. This fascinating work traces George's rise, fall, and the slow but steady climb back to the top, as well as the many issues and causes championed by Mr. C. over the past few years. With special guest Clive Thomas. Listen in and call in: 407-774-1965

Encore Presentation: In the Future, We Will All Be Tased for 15 Minutes

A special encore presentation of the People Power Hour features Tempe, Az. preacher Steve Anderson, who found himself abused, beaten and tased by DHS's Border Patrol and the Arizona Department of "Safety." His indiscretion? Insisting upon exercising his rights as an American citizen. Listen in to his shocking account and be outraged.

Upcoming Topics and EventsUpcoming Shows

Upcoming on the People Power Hour we speak with Jackie Dowd of Legal Advocacy @ Work; we're also hoping to chat with Orlando Sentinel columnist Greg Dawson about his book, "Hiding in the Spotlight: A Musical Prodigy's Story of Survival, 1941-1946." Of course, we also splay the week's news and current events wide open for our usual jaundiced examination.

Be sure to check back daily to find out what kind of shenanigans we're getting into that particular day.

Supreme Court of the US Is a Pinhead! as of Friday, July 03, 2009

SCOTUS has made many bone-headed decisions in its history, but few would be as wrong-headed as the recent declaration that convicted prisoners have no right to DNA testing to attempt to prove their innocence, even if the prisoner is willing to pay for the testing him or her self. This flies in the face of American justice and individual rights and qualifies these idiots for nomination.

Supreme Court of the US won with 43% of the total vote.
